Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support team head driving new procedures and new initiatives;
- Conduct and complete tender process for any sites materials as required;
- Develop procurement strategies for specific product categories for group, division or project specific;
- Compile and analyze specific product categories on costs, supplier capability, quality, terms, safety & environment for further negotiation for award of packages;
- Study, source and establish supply chain and develop networking with capable and competitive manufacturers and suppliers;
- Coordinate with user departments or project sites on understanding suppliers’ performance, product quality, and utilization for future evaluation of procurement strategies and recommendation;
- Liaise with internal and external departments, divisions and individuals in terms of overall implementation of our new initiatives, including supply chain and data management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines;
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience and preferably in procurement/ sourcing field, experience in construction field will be an advantage;
- Knowledge of application of Enterprises Resources Planning (ERP) would be an advantage;
- Open-minded; well-organised; self-motivated, team player, able to work with different levels of colleague in a co-operative, pro-active & innovative manner;
- Competent in preparation of tender document, technical and cost analysis, factory and supplier evaluation;
- Strong analytic skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel;
- Possess key market & product knowledge and capable to do marketing research if required.
